"We are excited to bring Snooze to the Ahwatukee area, and especially to the hundreds of curious local residents who have stopped by during construction to tell us how eager they are to have great new option for breakfast and brunch here," says Snooze CEO, Dave Birzon. Prior to the Snooze Ahwatukee Grand Opening, each organization will be invited to host an invite-only fundraiser for volunteers and supporters, where guests will receive a free meal in exchange for a suggested donation, with 100% of all funds raised donated directly to each organization. The YMCA provides needed services for both local youths and seniors, while Treasures 4 Teachers collects and distributes donated school supplies to local teachers so that students have everything they need to learn, and teachers aren't paying for supplies out of their own pockets. Founded in 2009 to honor the memory of an infant who passed away from congenital heart disease, LoveIAM raises fund for, among other things, to send children suffering from heart diseases to a specially-designed summer camp in Northern Arizona. Most important, as part of Snooze's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, Snooze Ahwatukee will be hosting a series of pre-opening fundraisers to support three local charities: LoveIAM, Ahwatukee Foothills Family YMCA and Treasures 4 Teachers. Open daily from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Ahwatukee residents will be tempted to kick back and stay a while thanks to a Snooze's full coffee and cocktail bar, plus a fully-shaded indoor-outdoor patio where guests can play games such as cornhole or Jenga. Serving up hearty, fresh-cracked breakfast and brunch dishes such as Pancake Flights and Breakfast Pot Pie featuring homemade rosemary sausage gravy, this latest Snooze location is housed inside a custom-built storefront at the Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center (on Ray Road just west of the I-10 freeway). ![]() ![]() Ray Rd., 48) is opening its doors (and its signature rollaway window walls) on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. ![]() The wait is almost over Ahwatukee, as the all-new Snooze, an A.M.
